Clever move. You shut out the private cars, the motorists don't shop there anymore, the independent shops close down and the big multi-nationals move in and the place loses it's life and character.

Nix neues, hatte ich dreimal am Citaro, auch daß die Wellendichtringe versagten und das Achsöl auf die Bremsscheibe lief.... raucht gut !

"Sollte Grün halten" "Sollte bei Annäherung Grün werden" Die Technik funktioniert eben nie, wie man es haben will. Aber irgendwie komisch... Fast immer, wenn die Straßenbahn sich einer Ampel nähert, wird sie rot :/ Da siehts man mal wieder, dass manche sparen, wo sie nur können :(

Im August 2008 ist die intelligenete Ampelsteuerung ausgefallen. Ergo entschied jede Ampel autark, ob sie jetzt auf Rot oder Grün stellte. Mittlerweile (seit Jänner 2009) wurde ein neues System gekauft bzw. modernisiert.

Maybe more robust, solid old-school, like DÜWAGs or Tatras, but overall better? I wouldn't dare to say that. Passengers today long for low-floor entries, comfort and smooth, silent running. Future will show how long current tram generation cars can survive before they fall apart. :)

Yes, this car is of the Genova type - cars like these have been circulating through Genova. One of them has been redirected to Innsbruck during WW2.
